<strong>Operating Principle</strong><br> <br> The DPD Residual/Total Chlorine Analyzer utilizes the N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine (DPD) colorimetric method, in full compliance with national standard methods. The analyzer reacts DPD with free chlorine in water to form a red-colored compound. The intensity of the color is proportional to the chlorine concentration and is measured photometrically. <strong>Operating Principle</strong><br> <br>The Online Disinfectant Analyzer uses a membrane-covered amperometric electrode with a specialized permeable membrane that selectively allows the target substance (e.g., hypochlorous acid, chlorine dioxide) to pass through while blocking other ions from entering the measurement system.
