TEM Online Ammonia Nitrogen Analyzer
In the salicylic acid spectrophotometric method, the water sample is first mixed with a masking reagent. Ammonia nitrogen, present in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions, reacts with the salicylic acid color reagent under alkaline conditions in the presence of a sensitizing agent to form a colored complex. The analyzer detects the change in color intensity and converts it into the ammonia nitrogen concentration. The amount of colored complex formed is directly proportional to the ammonia nitrogen content in the sample.
