Operating Principle

The transmittance of incident light is inversely proportional to the sludge concentration in the water sample. The HSS Suspended Solids sensor emits an infrared beam into the sample; sludge particles absorb, reflect, and scatter the light, leaving only a portion transmitted through. This transmitted light is detected by an internal sensor to calculate the corresponding sludge concentration. Tengine’s patented multi-beam auto-compensation technology eliminates the influence of window fouling, temperature fluctuations, and component aging, ensuring stable and accurate measurements.

Product Application

● Sludge concentration monitoring in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment
● Primary sedimentation tanks, secondary sedimentation tanks, thickening tanks, sludge dewatering processes
● Industrial sites such as paper mills, coal washing plants, power plants
Operating Principle

The infrared light emitted by the light source is absorbed, reflected, and scattered as it passes through the measured medium. Within a certain range, the intensity of the scattered light is proportional to turbidity or suspended solids concentration. Based on this principle, the TSS analyzer is equipped with two sets of detectors at 135° and 90° angles. By analyzing the intensity of the received scattered light, the instrument calculates turbidity or suspended solids concentration.

Product Application

● Turbidity monitoring of surface water
● Raw water and filter backwash water in drinking water plants
● Suspended solids measurement in inlet and outlet of wastewater treatment plants
● Turbidity monitoring in industrial processes and circulating cooling water
Operating Principle

The MTU High-Precision Turbidity Analyzer, model MTU1000, strictly complies with ISO 7027 international standard and uses the 90° light scattering principle for turbidity measurement. A focused light beam emitted from the sensor’s optical module enters the sample chamber and is scattered by suspended particles. The photodetector captures the light scattered at a 90° angle from the incident beam. The intensity of this scattered light is directly proportional to the turbidity of the sample.

Product Application

● Turbidity monitoring at water treatment plants: Pre-filtration, post-filtration, sedimentation stage, and plant outlet
● Municipal water distribution network turbidity monitoring
● Wastewater treatment plant effluent monitoring, including membrane filtration and plant outlet
● Industrial water quality monitoring: Circulating cooling water, activated carbon filter outlet, membrane filtration effluent, boiler feedwater, etc.
Operating Principle

The TPC Particle Counter is specially developed by Tengine Innovation for municipal water supply and membrane filtration monitoring. It adopts the light blockage (obscuration) method, offering precise, real-time particle size and count measurement. Users can freely define eight custom particle size channels, enabling applications such as Giardia & Cryptosporidium early warning, bio-leakage detection from activated carbon filters, coagulation and sedimentation performance evaluation, filter bed efficiency analysis, and membrane integrity monitoring.

Product Application

● Giardia/Cryptosporidium Early Warning: Particle monitoring at drinking water plant outlets
● Bio-leakage Monitoring: Particle surveillance of biological activated carbon filters
● Coagulation/Sedimentation Efficiency Evaluation
● Filter Bed Efficiency Assessment
● Membrane Integrity Testing
