TLD Electromagnetic Flowmeter

Operating Principle

The Electromagnetic Flowmeter operates based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. When a conductive liquid moves through a magnetic field, an induced electromotive force (EMF) is generated in the direction perpendicular to both the flow velocity vector and the magnetic field vector. This induced EMF is proportional to the flow rate, and after signal processing, the instrument provides measurements of instantaneous flow and cumulative flow.

    • 4-electrode measurement system: measurement electrode, reference electrode, and empty-pipe detection electrode, ensuring stable and accurate readings.
    • Measurement results are independent of liquid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, and conductivity (≥5 μS/cm).
    • Bidirectional measurement system with three built-in totalizers: forward total, reverse total, and net total.
    • Proprietary anti-interference filtering circuitry and processing unit for stable output.
    • Selectable lining and electrode materials, providing excellent wear resistance or corrosion resistance.
