IDT Integrated Digital Turbidity Sensor
IDT Integrated Digital Turbidity Sensor operates based on the principle that infrared light emitted by the light source undergoes absorption, reflection, and scattering when it passes through a sample. Within a certain range, the intensity of the scattered light is proportional to the turbidity or suspended solids concentration. The IDT sensor utilizes this principle by placing two sets of photodetectors at 135° and 90° angles to capture scattered light. By analyzing the intensity of these signals, the device calculates the turbidity or suspended solids concentration.
