IDNH Integrated Ammonia Nitrogen Sensor (ISE Method)

Operating Principle

The DNH Ammonia Nitrogen Analyzer is a high-performance solution based on ion-selective electrode (ISE) technology, designed specifically for real-time, accurate measurement of ammonia nitrogen (NH₄⁺-N) in water environments. It integrates an ammonium ion-selective electrode, a pH electrode, and a temperature sensor into a compact, all-in-one sensor. These components work together to perform multi-parameter measurements and dynamically compensate for environmental factors such as pH and temperature, ensuring more stable and reliable readings.
Unlike traditional ammonia nitrogen detection methods—such as Nessler’s reagent colorimetry and the salicylic acid method—which are slow to respond and produce secondary chemical waste, the DNH system offers rapid analysis without sample pretreatment, no reagent consumption, and supports flexible online calibration to further improve measurement accuracy and reduce maintenance.
