DNF Sewer Flowmeter

Operating Principle

The Sewer Flowmeter utilizes the acoustic Doppler principle to measure flow velocity. It simultaneously measures liquid level using both ultrasonic and hydrostatic pressure methods, and applies data fusion to improve the accuracy and stability of level measurement. Based on the velocity–area method, the instrument provides precise flow rate calculation.

    • The sensor adopts a hydrodynamic design with a compact structure, minimizing disturbance to the flow field.
    • Equipped with an advanced DSP processor and intelligent algorithms, it can automatically identify flow field conditions and adapt to various water environments.
    • Supports bidirectional flow velocity measurement-accurately measures flow speed regardless of sensor installation orientation(upstream or downstream).
    • Dual liquid level measurement options supported: ultrasonic and pressure-based,ensuring high accuracy and stable performance.
    • IP68 protection, corrosion-resistant, and explosion-proof certification for long-term harsh-environment operation.
    • Built-in 7.2V, 170Ah primary high-energy lithium battery enables up to 2 years of continuous operation at a 15-minute measurement interval, featuring long maintenance cycles and high safety. Note: Battery life varies depending on connected sensors, wire-less network signal quality, and measurement intervals.
