TDF Acoustic Doppler Flowmeter

Operating Principle

The Doppler Flowmeter uses the acoustic Doppler principle to measure flow velocity. It simultaneously measures liquid level using both ultrasonic and hydrostatic pressure methods, and applies data fusion to improve the accuracy and stability of level measurement. Flow rate is calculated based on the velocity–area method.

    • Ultrasonic Doppler measurement technology for precise determination of characteristic flow velocity.
    • Equipped with an advanced DSP processor and intelligent algorithms, automatically identifying water flow field conditions to adapt to various water environments.
    • Supports bidirectional flow velocity measurement, providing accurate readings regardless of sensor installation orientation (upstream or downstream).
    • Integrated pressure and ultrasonic level sensors allow direct water depth measurement.
    • Provides a single isolated RS485 digital interface, supporting the standard Modbus RTU protocol.
    • Supports 4G wireless network with Alink protocol.
    • Programmable relay outputs, allowing any relay to be configured as high alarm, low alarm, or timer-based.
    • Automatic historical data storage, capable of storing and retrieving up to 10 years of historical measurements.
